We haven’t enough superlatives to describe this trip!
After having to cancel in 2020, we finally were able to fulfil our dream trip in April 2023. Only a few days in, this awesome trip moved right to the top of our ‘Best Trip Ever’ list! There were so many reasons for this, but the main ones were our hosts, Dee and Ronnie Pitcher, and the amazing itinerary they planned for us. Every single day had another surprise and was better than the day before!
Dee and Ronnie are originally from Africa and offered a unique perspective at every destination. They are organized, knowledgeable, and passionate about the trips they host and are able to ensure that every guest is looked after like family.
The itinerary was varied to include history, culture, sightseeing and safaris. Accommodations were first class, meals were delicious, drinks were never ending, and activities were interesting and exciting. As hosts, Ronnie and Dee were top notch, managing all of the details with care and being engaged in all of the experiences with the group.
This was truly the trip of a lifetime! It far exceeded our expectations and we have returned home with a sense of awe and gratitude that we have been able to experience South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe with these outstanding hosts! They didn’t just take us on a tour in Africa, they helped us experience Africa!
