PRE TOUR

On arrival at Johannesburg O.R.Tambo International Airport, you will be met by your hosts and transferred to the African Pride Hotel for your two night stay.

Day 1 - Johannesburg, Saturday 23 May 2026

Today starts our trip of a lifetime with a wonderful day of cultural experiences. Our explorations begin in the heart of bustling Johannesburg, the third largest city in Africa, as you seek out landmark buildings such as the Hillbrow Tower, one of the tallest towers in Africa, the sky-scraping Ponte City, and the multi-million rand Nelson Mandela Bridge. A tour of Constitutional hill is followed by a drive into Soweto where we enjoy the cultural experience of an authentic lunch with entertainment at a local home showcasing the success of an entrepreneurial lad.

Day 2 - Johannesburg, Sunday 24 May 2026

Today we travel north of the city of Johannesburg to find the country’s capital, Pretoria which showcases an informative visit to Freedom Park. After an interesting city tour and a delectable meal at a local restaurant you return to Africa Pride Hotel.

Days 3 to 4 - Chobe River Front, Monday 25 May 2026 - Tuesday 26 May 2026

Today is the day you begin your safari experiences. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Johannesburg O.R.Tambo International Airport for your flight to Kasane in Chobe. On arrival at Kasane airport you will be transferred to Bakwena Lodge for check in for two nights. Activities include game drives and boat cruises. We encourage all our guests to take part in our Guided boat cruise to the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers where 4 countries meet - Botswana , Namibia , Zambia and Zimbabwe. These are complimentary, not at any specific time nor for any duration. A Chobe River cruise has to be one of the finest game viewing experiences in Africa. With over 80 000 elephant in the park alone, they are a very frequent sighting. Hippo, water birds, buffalo, crocodile and impala , giraffe and kudu are also viewed from the river ending the days activity with a beautiful sunset over the Chobe River. Then return to your hotel for an overnight rest.

Day 5 - Victoria Falls, Wednesday 27 May 2026

After breakfast we ensure an early start to ensure a smooth border crossing (Visas need to be purchased) into Zimbabwe and Shongwe Oasis Boutique Hotel, Victoria Falls for your overnight rest. This afternoon after a quick lunch enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the largest falling sheet of water on earth, Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. Note: you will get wet from the cooling spray of the falls.

Day 6 - Cape Town, Thursday 28 May 2026

 

After soaking in the views of the Falls for the past day, enjoy breakfast before being transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the lovely Blackheath Lodge positioned in vibrant and trendy Sea Point for your two night stay.

Day 7 - Cape Town, Friday 29 May 2026

Our guide will collect you from Blackheath Lodge this morning for your half-day private city tour. Weather depending, Table Mountain will be your first stop for breathtaking views of the city, beaches and Cape Peninsula. As an alternative, your guide can take you to Signal Hill for a different, but just as beautiful perspective of the city. Visit the city centre including Green Market Square, Long Street. On the way back, pass through the Cape Malay quarter known as The Bo Kaap with brightly coloured houses. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Cape Town Waterfront. A dinner with a difference will be experienced by all.

Day 8 - Atlantic Seaboard & Cape Point, Saturday 30 May 2026

Your guide will collect you from Blackheath Lodge. You will be taken on a spectacular journey around the Cape Peninsula taking in all the highlights and breathtaking beauty of this world-renowned region, including a stop at the famous Boulder’s Beach where the penguins are located as well as the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive. Travel through historic suburbs of Muizenberg, St James and Simon’s Town, charming fishing villages of Kalk Bay and Hout Bay and beautiful viewpoints on the way to Cape Point, where the mighty Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet in harmony. Your guide will stop in one of the areas for lunch. The day will end in the winelands where you will be check into La Fontaine, located in the heart of Franschhoek for your 3 nights stay.

Day 9 - Cape Winelands, Sunday 31 May 2026

Today you will be picked up for a full day guided Cape Winelands tour. The Winelands are set just an hour outside of Cape Town and blessed with heavenly scenery with breathtaking views. The area is rich with history, and you can’t help but feel it as you move through the region. A visit to visit the Cheetah sanctuary will ensure a wonderful start to the day. After that you will make stops to experience a wine cellar tour, where you’ll learn all about the process of winemaking, from grape to goblet.

Day 10 - Cape Winelands, Monday 1 June 2026

 

Another day to explore the Winelands area where we will enjoy two wine farms before enjoying a spectacular scenic lunch at a destination you will always remember.

Days 11 to 13 - Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, Tuesday 2 June 2026 - Thursday 4 June 2026

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Skukuza a delightful small airport inside Kruger Park. You will be transferred to Nottens Bush Camp located in the beauty of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve for the next three nights. Nottens Bush Camp is world renowned for excellent Big Five game viewing and guests can enjoy two game drives and a bush walk per day. Facilities include a beautiful swimming pool with bar, a spa, gym and a small library.The lodge is owner run and has only nine rooms. This guarantees personal service and attention to detail. Their unpretentious style ensures that guests feel the warm and friendly atmosphere of a little piece of Africa.

Day 14 - Hazyview, Friday 5 June 2026

This morning, after a game drive and breakfast, you will transfer to the Hazyview area to check into Perry’s Bridge Hollow  Hotel for the night. On the way we will visit Graskop gorge; a lovely well set out canopy tour in an adventure gorge where we can experience a host of optional activities, depending on your bravery level.

Day 15 - Panorama Route, Saturday 6 June 2026

After breakfast your guide will take you on the famous Panorama Route. One breathtaking view after another, South Africa’s famous Panorama Route; where you’ll experience mountains, sky, forests and the truly impressive Blyde River Canyon, one of the world’s largest canyons. The small town of Graskop is the gateway to the Panorama Route. Scenic landmarks with evocative names like God’s Window, Wonder View, the Pinnacle, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondawels beckon. With lunch along the way we head for Hoedspruit, a small town just outside the greater Kruger area for a night stopover before our next safari experience. Our night stay will be in the newly built and well-appointed Radisson Safari Hotel.

Days 16 to 18 - Timbavati Private Reserve, Sunday 7 June 2026 - Tuesday 9 June 2026

After breakfast pay a visit to the traditional Nyati Cultural Village to learn about the African culture and enjoy some energetic dancing and singing by a wonderful group of professionals.

We drive through Hoedspruit into the Timbavati Game reserve and after an hour drive we will arrive at Kambaku River Sands, a beautiful new ten room lodge for our three night stay and to enjoy two more game drives per day, sumptuous food and simply superb staff and rangers.

Day 19 - End of Itinerary, Wednesday 10 June 2026

After an early morning game drive we are transferred to Hoedspruits Eastgate airport for our final journey back to OR Tambo airport and a sad farewell to all of our newly made friends before we board our aircraft for the flights home.
