What an amazing and exciting trip we had in South Africa with Ronnie and Dee Pitcher, as our tour guides and hosts! The 3 safaris, certainly a highlight of our trip, were all very different. The local guides were highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable. All the animals we saw were out of this world, including the Big 5 which we saw at both safari camps in Kruger. The food, drinks and staff at all our hotels were great, with such excellent service. Some of the lodges had chalets with a small pool in front so the animals would come and drink from there. Apart from the fantastic safari experiences, we also had wonderful visits to some of the popular tourist sights, like Victoria Falls, Blyde River Canyon, Shangana Tribal Village and so much more. We saw so much and visited amazing places in the 2 weeks that we were on tour until the Covid -19 virus caught up with us, which cut our trip short by 6 days. Our hosts, Ronnie and Dee, took such good care of us during this difficult time ensuring that we were safe and well cared for in a hotel in Johannesburg, until we were able to have a repatriation flight home. We don’t have the words to thank them for all their hard work to ensure our safety and comfort.
This was an amazing trip that had it all. What an experience. We certainly plan to go back to accomplish what we didn’t see – and more! We highly recommend this trip with Ronnie and Dee as your hosts. These guys are the BEST!!
